UNACOM joins DepEd in Celebrating International Day of Education 2024

The UNESCO-Philippine National Commission (UNACOM) joined the Department of Education’s celebration of the 2024 International Day of Education.

This annual celebration emphasizes the critical role that education plays in preventing hate speech and bringing about lasting peace.

UNACOM supports efforts to ensure that every child receives a relevant and quality education; and that learners of all ages will be provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions to contribute to realizing sustainable development goals.
