UNESCO has opened its call for applications and nominations for the 2023 edition of the UNESCO International Literacy Prizes !
Every year, the prizes reward excellence and innovation in the field of literacy around the world, to promote effective and innovative practices and encourage dynamic literate societies.
This year the focus is on promoting literacy for a world in transition and building the foundation for peaceful and sustainable societies.
All experts in #literacy education are invited to submit their applications, and nominating entities to recommend candidates from various parts of the world.
Deadline for candidates to submit applications to nominating entities: 28 June 2023.
