The conference provided an opportunity for participants to discuss strategies for teaching and popularizing ethics in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, exploring the ethical dimensions of climate change, and analyzing the interface of ethics education and lifelong learning.

The conference consisted of two plenary sessions headed by Dr. Ibana (lifelong learning) and Ms. Joji Racelis of the Center for Family Ministries, Loyola House of Studies (connecting with today’s adolescents), and three workshop discussions facilitated by Prof. Rowena Azada-Palacios of the Ateneo de Manila University (philosophy for children in the context of lifelong ethics learning), CENTEX Ayala Foundation (philosophy for children in the Philippine context), and Mr. Damien Roiland of Lycée Français de Manille (merienda philosophy). Mr. Irakli Khodeli, programme specialist from UNESCO Jakarta, served as keynote speaker.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
