PH NatCom joins 2017 training workshop for officials of National Commissions for UNESCO in Asia and the Pacific

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_images_carousel images=”1096,1093,1094,1095,1088,1089,1090,1091″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The Korean National Commission for UNESCO co-hosted a training workshop for officials of National Commissions for UNESCO in Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand, June 20 – 23, 2017. The training workshop was in cooperation with the UNESCO Bangkok Office and the Thai National Commission for UNESCO.

The workshop’s purpose was to help UNESCO National Commissions staff members in Asia and the Pacific better understand UNESCO’s structure and functions and issues pertaining to the Organization, while providing a forum for the exchange of ideas among participants. Around 60 participants from 21 National Commissions in Asia and the Pacific and other organizations attended the workshop.
